We are a fun, relaxed, upscale authentic Italian restaurant. We're looking for a Pantry Cook with a passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience to every guest.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Confers with the manager on duty to determine requirements for the day.
  • Make cold appetizers, salads, vegetable and bruschettas
  • Garnish dishes with spices, nuts, fruit and vegetables
  • Prepare vinaigrettes, dips and herb-infused oils
  • Follow company recipes and procedures when preparing food.
  • Works in a clean, efficient, and organized manner.
  • Help conserve costs and control waste.
  • Observes good sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Maintains a sense of ownership with respect to kitchen equipment.
  • Works effectively and professionally with other departments of the restaurant.
  • Assists in clean-up work as required.
  • Adheres to policies as set forth in the associate handbook and department manual.
  • Does any other duties requested by management.

Skills and Experience:

  • Work experience as a Pantry Cook, Prep Cook or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with professional kitchen equipment
  • Highly organized
  • Good communication skills
  • Good knowledge of food plating techniques
  • Understanding of health and safety rules in a kitchen
